What's your interpretation of these lyrics?

i think it's love's idea that in today's society, you better exist as what society deems as 'beautiful' or you might as well not exist at all. that society pressures us so much to be beautiful that we 'wake up in our makeup' and we sell our bodies to pay for expensive plastic surgeries... we'll do anything to be beautiful and therefore accepted.
