. Yeah, you're pretty much dead in the water at the moment. Your best bet would be to try to see what you can do in Safe Mode, but that virus as many different tricks (including disabling your admin privleges). It's likely you'd have to manually edit the Windows Registry just to fix some of the things it's already done (not something to be done by a novice). Your best bet is almost certainly to reformat. If you REALLY don't want to wipe, you can take it to a computer repair store like Best Buy. However, I know Best Buy charges at least $200 to repair a computer but it might be worth it to you.
