Which of these is a better career in the US?

Dentistry pays better ($130k +), but there are lots of openings right now for occupational therapists ($42k- $53k/yr). Keep in mind the cost of your education in comparison to expected salary and estimated job outlook. You can do a salary search online easy but you also could do both. Dentistry school does not have a requirement for what topic your bachelors' degree is in so you can get a 4 yr in OT, apply to dentistry school, and even finish a masters in OT along the way :-) Why not? Then you will be prepared for 2 careers and won't be without a job! Cheers!
